Kale Frittata

A beautiful addition to the Christmas table and the rest of the year. Can be eaten both hot and cold.

  • 100 g Smoked Ham In Thin Slices
  • 500 g Frozen Minced Kale
  • 25 g Butter
  • 5 Eggs
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 1 tsp Coarse Salt
  • Freshly Ground Pepper
  • 150 g Cheddar
  • 240 g Roasted Whole Grain Rye Stale Bread


Step 1

Turn on the oven.

Step 2

Drain the kale well of any liquid. Cut the ham into strips.

Step 3

Place the butter in an ovenproof dish (approximately 25 x 30 cm) and let the butter melt in the oven.

Step 4

Beat the egg, milk, salt and pepper together in a bowl. Add the kale, ham and 2/3 of the cheese. Pour it into the dish and sprinkle on the rest of the cheese.

Step 5

Place the Kale Omelette in the middle of the oven - until it solidifies and is golden. Bake for 15 minutes at 225 °.
