Grilled Steak Salad

This is an ideal recipe for when you have leftover meat or chicken. Just slice the meat thinly, add some salad leaves then drizzle a salad dressing on top!

  • 4 servings


  • 300 g Thinly Sliced Steak
  • 1 Red Onion
  • Lemon
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 500 g Fresh Asparagus
  • 250 g Cherry Tomatoes On The Vine
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 Pinches Salt
  • 2 Pinches Black Pepper
  • 250 g Quark
  • 100 g Mature Cheddar
  • 65 g Mixed Salad
  • 5 ml Olive Oil


Step 1

Cut the red onion and put in a bowl, add the lemon juice and honey then mix together.

Step 2

Add the quark and grated cheese together in another bowl. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Drizzle the butter on the steak, asparagus and tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 4

Grill the meat and vegetables for about 2 minutes on each side.

Step 5

Slice the steak thinly. Place the meat, vegetables and salad on to a plate..

Sprinkle the quark and grated cheese on top then drizzle some olive oil on top to finish
