Bacon Wrapped Chicken

Chicken fillet wrapped in bacon with flavours of rosemary and aromatic spice. This festive dish works well both as an everyday meal and as a treat.

Spiced Butter

  • 100 g Butter
  • 1 Lemon For Zest
  • tsp Black Pepper

Chicken fillet

  • 4 Chicken Breast Fillets
  • 4 Rosemary Sprigs
  • 8 Slices Of Bacon
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 g Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Rapeseed Oil
  • 250 g Baby Tomatoes
  • 1 Onion


Step 1

Start with the spiced butter. Fry the butter, let it cool so that the butter solidifies. Add lemon peel and pepper, stir together and spread the butter into peaks. This can be prepared and stored in the freezer.

Step 2

Heat the oven to 150 °.

Step 3

Add a sprig of rosemary to each chicken fillet, salt and pepper. Wrap the chicken fillets in 2 slices of bacon.

Step 4

Fry the chicken fillets in butter & rapeseed oil about 2 minutes on each side. Put them in a baking dish with the tomatoes and onion.

Step 5

Cook in the middle of the oven for about 15 minutes. Serve with the spiced butter and oven potatoes.
