Can Protein Academy help me lose weight?

At the Protein Academy, we want to help you hit all of your health and fitness goals, and that includes helping you lose weight, but it’s important to remember that exercise needs to be part of a healthy and nutritious lifestyle to achieve this.

There are many exercises and workout routines that can help you lose weight by introducing protein to your diet, but it’s important to be aware that protein can also make you gain muscle mass which can, in turn, increase your weight. Rather than help you to lose weight, building muscle will help you to appear more toned, enhancing your shape.

What are net calories?

Net calories are worked out simply by subtracting the volume of calories burned through exercise from the total amount of calories consumed in a day.

For example, if you ate 2,000 calories and burned 500 calories at the gym, your net calories would be 1,500.

Who is Arla?

Arla Foods is a farmer owned cooperative and one of the largest producers of dairy products in the world. We have over 2,400 farmer owners in the UK and all of our profits go back to these farmers who supply the milk that go into our high quality dairy foods. So when you buy an Arla product, whether it’s milk, cheese yogurt or butter, you can be sure you’re supporting British Farmers to create long-term, sustainable milk production.

Where can I buy Arla Protein?

You can buy Arla Protein products online via the Arla Protein site or at most leading supermarkets including Tesco, ASDA, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons.
