Speedy Beef Stroganoff

Beef Stroganoff is a perfect everyday dish - easy to make and delicious. The Russian smetana (sour cream) is a perfect addition to the sauce.

  • 4 servings


  • 400 g Minute Steak
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 Pinch Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 Garlic Clove (pressed)
  • 200 ml Sour Cream
  • 50 ml Water
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 1 tsp Mustard


Step 1

Cut the meat into strips. Peel and cut the onion into thin slices.

Step 2

Salt and pepper the meat and fry it in the butter along with the onions and garlic.

Step 3

Stir in the sour cream, water, tomato paste and mustard. Bring to the boil and cook on a low heat for 2-3 minutes.
