Pepper Pasta Sauce

A mild spicy sauce with peppers, perfect for freshly cooked pasta.

  • 4 Pepper In Different Colours
  • 2 Small Finely Chopped Garlic Cloves
  • 1 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 10 g Butter
  • tsp Coarse Salt
  • 250 ml Single Cream
  • 100 g Mild Ajvar Relish (Red Pepper Paste In A Jar)
  • 500 g Fresh Pasta


  • 100 g Grated Cheese


Step 1

Half the peppers, remove the seeds and cut the peppers into smaller pieces.

Step 2

Heat the butter on a high heat, without burning it. Sweat garlic and bell pepper for approximately 2 minutes.

Step 3

Add cream, ajvar relish, thyme and salt and let the dish boil on an even heat for approximately 3 minutes. Taste.

Step 4

Cook the pasta following the instructions on the packet. Sieve the pasta. Serve the pasta and pepper sauce with grated cheese. Serve immediately.
