Oat Bread

Ingredients
- 25 g Butter
- 600 ml Water
- 200 g Natural Yogurt
- 50 g Yeast
- 2 tsp Sugar
- 2 tsp Coarse Salt
- 200 g Oat Bran
- 750 g Wheat Flour

- 4 Whipped Eggs
Method
Step 1
Melt the butter in a pan and add the water. Pour the mixture into a bowl and add the quark.
Step 2
Stir the yeast in. Add the other ingredients (keep a little flour).
Step 3
Mix the dough together. Cover the bowl with a lid and place the dough for rising a warm place for approximately 1 hour.
Step 4
Take the dough out on a floured table and knead it thoroughly. Add any/the rest of the flour. Divide the dough into 2 pieces and place them in 2 greased french bread tins (about 2 litres).
Step 5
Let the breads rest, covered for approximately ½ hour. Brush them with eggs and sprinkle with oat bran.
Step 6
Bake the bread at the bottom of the oven. Remove the bread from the tins when cooked.
Step 7
Place the bread to one side on baking paper. Put the bread back in the warm oven and leave them to rest. For Baking time: Put the breads into the oven, set at 200 ° for approximately 40 minutes. Turn off the oven and leave the breads for approximately 10 minutes."
Step 8
Let the oatmeal bread cool down on a baking rack and serve in slices with butter and cheese.
