Mushroom Pasta

The fresh mix of mushrooms provides the scent of the forest throughout the kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 1 Yellow Onion
  • 300 g Pasta
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 800 g Mixed Fresh Mushrooms
  • 5 g Butter
  • 150 ml Dry White Wine
  • 250 ml White Sauce
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 Pinches Black Pepper
  • 10 g Coarsely Chopped Fresh Parsley
  • 80 g Grated Extra Mature Cheddar

Method

Step 1

Cook the pasta.

Step 2

Peel and chop the onions and garlic. Cut the mushrooms into pieces. Fry the onions and the mushrooms in a buttered frying pan, until the butter has been absorbed.

Step 3

Add garlic and wine. Let the wine cook in. Pour on the cream. Season with salt and pepper. Cook on low heat for about 5 minutes.

Step 4

Add parsley. Mix the sauce with the pasta. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
