Lime Chicken

Add lime to give the chicken a mild citrus flavour. Delicious!

  • 500 g Chicken Breast Fillets
  • 5 g Butter
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 Pinch Black Pepper
  • Lime
  • 100 ml Water
  • 200 ml Creme Fraiche
  • Chicken Stock Cube
  • 1 tsp Soy
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • Fresh Parsley


Step 1

Fry the chicken fillets in butter in a frying pan, for about 5 minutes per side. Salt and pepper.

Step 2

Wash the lime thoroughly in lukewarm water. Peel the lime with a potato peeler removing the white bits. Cut the lime peel into thin strips and squeeze the juice.

Step 3

Pour the juice and lime peel into the pan. Whisk together the water, crème fraîche, crumbled stock cube, soy and honey. Pour the mixture into the pan.

Step 4

Cover and boil on a low heat for a few minutes. Sprinkle with parsley
