- 350 g Wheat Flour
- 1 tbsp Baking Powder
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Coarse Salt
- 150 ml Water
- 100 ml Quark
- 25 g Butter (melted)
Mix flour, baking powder, sugar and salt together in a bowl (keep a little wheat flour).
Add water, quark and butter and collect dough. Add any/ the rest of the flour. Leave the dough covered on the kitchen table for approximately 10 minutes.
Divide the dough into 6 portions and form them into round shapes with your hands.
Fry the breads in a pan over an even heat for 3-4 minutes on each side. Gradually, as cooked, pack the bread into aluminum foil so they stay warm and soft. Serve the breads freshly baked.
