French Omelette with Mushrooms

A fast and easy to cook creamy omelet. Omelettes are good for breakfast, lunch or with a salad.

  • 2 servings


  • 4 Eggs
  • 4 tbsp Water
  • tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 200 g Fresh Mushrooms
  • Possibly 1 Garlic Clove
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 20 g Chopped Fresh Parsley
  • tsp Salt
  • 1 Black Pepper


Step 1

Clean the mushrooms and cut into slices. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Fry the mushrooms and garlic in butter in a frying pan for about 5 minutes. Stir in parsley, salt and pepper. Keep warm.

Step 2

Lightly beat together eggs, water and salt. Heat the butter until golden brown in a frying pan.

Step 3

Fry the omelette batter on a medium heat in the frying pan, for about 4 minutes. Gently stir in the egg mixture a few times during the cooking time.

Step 4

The omelette is ready when the egg batter has solidified but is still a little creamy on the surface. Add the mushrooms."
