French Chicken Stew

Simple and fast French chicken stew, flavoured with mushrooms, thyme and garlic.

Ingredients

  • 250 g Mushrooms
  • 400 g Chicken Thigh Fillet
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 300 ml Whole Milk (or single cream)
  • ½ tbsp Corn Starch
  • 1 tbsp Chicken Broth
  • 2 tbsp Mustard
  • 2 Crushed Garlic Cloves
  • 1 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 2 Pinches Black Pepper
  • 10 g Chopped Fresh Parsley
  • 240 g Rice

Method

Step 1

Cook the rice as directed on the packet.

Step 2

Cut chicken and mushrooms into pieces and cook in butter.

Step 3

Whisk together cream, milk, corn starch, broth, mustard and garlic. Pour it over the chicken and cook for about 5 minutes.

Step 4

Sprinkle with thyme and black pepper. Sprinkle with parsley. Serve with rice.
