Chicken in Peanut Sauce

We sneak Swedish apples into an Indonesian peanut sauce.

  • 500 g Chicken Breast Fillets
  • 2 Apples
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • 100 g Salted Peanuts
  • 1 tsp Chopped Freshed Red Chilli
  • 2 tbsp Peanut Butter
  • Lime Peel And Juice Of ½ Lime
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 100 ml Water
  • 250 ml Cream
  • 1 Chicken Stock Cube
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • ½ tsp Salt


Step 1

Cut the chicken into strips. Core and slice the apples. Peel and chop the garlic. Chop the nuts.

Step 2

Mix together nuts, chilli, peanut butter, lime, brown sugar, water, cream and rest the mixture. Make the chicken stock in a pan. Allow to boil.

Step 3

Fry the chicken in butter, a little at a time, in a frying pan. Add to the stock mix and let boil for a few minutes. Season with salt. Fry the apple and garlic and stir into the pan.
