American Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chewy American chocolate chip cookies, loaded with hidden pieces of dark chocolate and lots of nuts. Yum!

  • 200 g Butter (Room Temperature)
  • 160 g Icing Sugar
  • 160 g Raw Cane Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 360 g Wheat Flour
  • 2 tsp Bicarbonate
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Sugar
  • 300 g Dark Chocolate 70%
  • 400 g Mixed Nuts (such as hazel, cashew, and pistachios)


Step 1

Mix the butter and sugar. Add eggs, flour, bicarbonate of soda and vanilla sugar. Work together into a dough.

Step 2

Chop chocolate and nuts and mix quickly into the dough. Shape it into a tube shape, about 3 cm in diameter. Leave in the freezer for about 1 hour.

Step 3

Heat the oven to 175 °. Take out the roll and cut into thin slices and place on an oven tray with baking sheet paper. Bake in the middle of the oven for 12-15 minutes.
